Exhibition design
The German word Vesperbild means Vesper image and evokes the deposition of Jesus from the cross and inspires the entire iconography of Christ on Mary's lap.
The exhibition held at Castello Sforzesco in 2018, curated by Claudio Salsi and Antonio Mazzotta with Agostino Allegri and Giovanna Mori, was dedicated to this art-historical theme. The graphic design of the exhibition was generated on the visual metamorphosis between languages of different eras on the same theme of the Pieta.
